Aishling Sheridan off to a winning start in Australia

Cavan''s Aishling Sheridan hit 2 goals for Collingwood, as they got their AFLW off to a winning start with victory over Carlton.

The Carlton Blues who are favourites to top the league found themselves trailing 26 nil at the half way mark, before putting in a stirring 2nd half performance to bring themselves back into the game.

However Sheridan's goals particularly her 2nd proved to be decisive scores as the Magpies ran out 33 -27 winners.
