The draws for the groups in the All-Ireland championships took place during the week with Cavan in group two.
The Breffni men will face the Leinster champions, Connacht runner-up and Roscommon. Whereas, Monaghan are in group four with the Munster winner, Leinster runner up and Meath.
Following the draws there was some commentary, regarding the draws being made prior to the completion of the provincial championships.
