Both Monaghan and Cavan will be on their travels this weekend

Round 3 of the Allianz national football league throws in this weekend with both Monaghan and Cavan looking to pick up their first points. The Breffni county make the trip to O’Neills Healy Park Omagh on Sunday to face Tyrone in Division 2 with the Red Hand county sitting on 1 point following an opening day draw with Kildare while Monaghan head to Croke Park on Saturday to face Dublin who are also without any points. Sean Mc Caffrey chatted to Irish News journalist and Farney Army podcaster Jack Madden  about the up-coming games noting firstly that Monaghan will not fear going to GAA headquarters as they have had a number of positive results over Dublin in the league
