Debate is continuing about whither or not Cavans All Ireland semi final should be held in Croke Park on December 5th.
Following their historic win over Donegal on Sunday past in the Ulster final, former All Ireland winner and pundit on the day with BBC sport, Oisin Mc Conville questioned the need to play the last 4 encounter at the GAA headquarters giving what many would perceive is an advantage to Dublin.
Peter Canavan has also called for the powers to be to look at moving the fixture with Pairc Tailteann in Navan been mentioned as a possible alternative as it played host to the same pairing back in 1920.
This would certainly look like a non starter as throw in for the semi final on Saturday the 5th is fixed for 5:30 with no flood lights available at the Meath venue.
Former Cavan forward Seanie Johnston meanwhile has mooted the idea of the sides tossing for home advantage with the game going to either Parnell park or Kingspan Breffni depending on who wins the toss.
Current Cavan captain Raymond Galligan however says they have no preference where they play the semi final v
The goalkeeper is relaxed about the venue for Cavan's first semi final in 23 years.
