Arva recorded a first Cavan SFC victory over 30-years when beating Killygarry in Kingspan Breffni.
Arva scoring a 2-19 to 20-points win in the round one contest. A Conal Sheridan goal helped Arva to lead 1-13 to eight points at half-time.
Sheridan landed his second goal of the day 13 minutes into the second-half. While Killygarry battled hard it was Arva’s as they pulled away.
