Sarah was visiting Clones the birth place of her mother.

Australian paralympian Sarah Walsh was a visitor to the region in recent days as she paid a visit to the Peace-link in Clones and also met up with family and friends who had supported her at the Paraolympics in Tokyo last year. While representing her country of birth on the world stage, the long jump competitor has a very strong affinity with Clones as her mother is originally from there. Speaking to Northern Sound Sarah remarked it was nice to get some time to visit to travel as she prepares for the re-scheduled world championships and next Olympics
