The Cavan hurlers have two defeats from as many games after losing 23 points to 12 to Lancashire in Allianz hurling league division 3B at Kingspan Breffni.
Lancashire did most of the damage in the first half leading 15 points to 4 at the break before the sides cancelled each other out during the second half.
Cavan now face into a two-week break and will be hoping for their first win of the campaign when they travel to Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, 26th February.
