Ballybay manager to take step back for Ulster quarter final

Jerome Johnstons would be facing his home club and family members

Jerome Johnston says he won't be taking charge of Ballybay in their Ulster club football quarter-final against Kilcoo this weekend. Johnston is a native of Kilcoo and has three sons and six nephews on the Down champions' panel. Ballybay - who won the Monaghan title for the first time in ten years this season when they defeated the reigning county champions Scotstown, followed that up with a victory over Armagh's Crossmaglen last weekend in the preliminary round. The 2 sides are set to meet this Sunday at 1:30 in St Tiernachs Park Clones.
