Busy weekend of Ulster club championship action

Finals and semi-finals are down for decision

It is set to be a busy weekend of Ulster club championship action with a number of semi finals and finals down for decision. In Ladies football, the junior and intermediate finals are Northern Sound derbies with clubs from Monaghan and Cavan set to face each other. On Saturday in Roslea the junior final will be up for decision as Cavan Gaels take on Killeevan at 2pm. While on Sunday in Brewster Park Knockbride go up against St Brigids with that game throwing in at 12:30.

In Men's football, Emyvale will face Munterconnaught in the Junior semi final on Sunday at 1:30 in Roslea. The Cavan champions came through a dramatic penatly shoot out win over Clonmore of Armagh in the quarter final with manager Stephen Mc Govern noting after that win that they know they will face another tough test in the last 4

Clogher and Donagh meet in the other semi final on Saturday in St Tiernachs Park Clones at 1:30

It is also at the semi final stage in the intermediate hurling championship as Castleblayney and Lisbellaw meet on Sunday at 1:30 in Ballyconnell
