Butlersbridge landed five goals, but that wasn’t enough as the Downings advanced in the Ulster ladies junior championship.
The Cavan junior champions were sharp through, but struggled to stay with the pace of the Donegal champions. The sides were level at half-time, Butlersbridge 1-5 to the Downings 2-2.
However, the Donegal outfit landed three second-half goals to advance, 2-10 to 5-4.
