Carrickmacross missed out on an Ulster club JHC title following a 1-15 to 1-10 defeat to Craobh Rua in the provincial final at Pairc Esler in Newry.

Conor McKevitt’s goal on three minutes saw Craobh Rua led 1-3 to 0-4 on 15 minutes but Carrickamcross subsequently endured a 15 minute barren spell.
