Casey Mulvey lands national silver

Casey Mulvey landed two silver medals at the national senior championships in Dublin over the weekend.

Mulvey of Inny Vale athletic club took discus silver with a best of 45.18 metres, behind gold medalist Niamh Fogarty of Raheny Shamrock who threw a best of 53.73 metres.

Mulvey took silver in the weight for distance with a best throw of 6.79 metres with gold going to Zoe Mahon of Cuhinstown who through a best of 6.98 metres.
