Qualifying will continue at the Isle of Man TT races with racing scheduled to begin over the weekend. Local rider Joe Loughlin who is racing for the first time at the races has been impressing in the qualifying with times and average speeds inside the top 10 on the 37 plus mile course. The Castleblayney cyclist who is part of Ian Loughers team is set to compete in a number of classes including the Supersport and Supertwins. The event was shrouded in sadness earlier this week when Welsh rider Mark Purslow passed away following an accident in qualifying.
