Cavan bow out of Ulster minor football championship

Cavan bowed out of the Ulster minor championship after Derry won out 17 points to 11.

Derry will now face Donegal or Tyrone in the Ulster final. Derry led well at half-time 12 points to four.

Cavan’s points coming from Matthew Smith, Ben Tully, Lorcan Reilly. Cavan fought back in the second-half making it a four point game.

Derry however fought back in the closing stages and played the game out for six point victory and passage to the Ulster final.
