Cavan camogie team miss out on Premier Junior All-Ireland final

Cavan have reached the Premier Junior All-Ireland camogie final following a            victory over Armagh at Tullamore.

Cavan have missed out on a Premier Junior All-Ireland camogie following a 1-13 to 2-3 defeat at the hands of Armagh at Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park, Tullamore.

The Breffni women started better and led 1-3 to 0-3 at half-time; Shanise Fitzsimons' goal on 28 minutes separating the sides.

Fitzsimons added another goal on 45 minutes as Cavan moved four points clear but two minutes later Jennifer Curry replied with one for Armagh and suddenly the sides were level.

Armagh followed up with seven unanswered points and ran out convincing winners. The Orchard county will face either Antrim or Clare in the decider on Sunday August 7th.
