Cavan clubs looking to get off to good starts in Ulster championship

Cavan intermediate champions Castlerahan will get their provincial campaign underway this weekend when they travel to Ederney on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 to take on Devenish St Marys of Fermanagh. Later then on Saturday evening Gowna the senior champions face Enniskillen Gaels at 7pm in Brewster Park. Sean Mc Caffrey takes a look ahead to those fixtures in the company of Damien Donohoe focusing firstly on the Castlerahan encounter and noting that having been Senior Cavan champions in 2018 and 19, they would have to be carrying a lot of confidence into the intermediate competition
