David "The Flintstone" Flynn has been selected for the Junior championships

Cavan are set to have representation on the Worlds dart stage as David Flynn has qualified for the Junior Darts corporation world championships. David who goes by the nickname "The Flintsone trains with the Athlone youth Darts academy and has been selected alongside Aaron Killane and James Morris for the tournament which will take place in Gibralitar in November. Born in Castlebar David now resides in Cavan and goes to school in St Patricks College. Back in May he was man of the match for Westmeath Youth Darts Team at their tournament in March, played at Ballinasloe's Shearwater Hotel. He beat Colal Divilly 4-1 in the final of the Westcoast Challenge Youth Singles throwing for Westmeath in the team event, and carried that form through the competition to bring home the silverware.
