Cavan hurlers are Croke Park bound to take on New York in the Lory Meagher cup final this Saturday. The Breffni side will be looking to put the disappointment of losing the 2021 final behind them as they topped the group with 4 wins, but will still be the underdog to the visitors from across the Atlantic who entered the competition last weekend with a semi final win over Monaghan and are favourites to lift the title in only their 2nd game ever in the championship. With New York back boned by a number of players from hurling strong holds including Tipperary, Cork and Galway , Breffni manager Ollie Bellew has been vocal on how the competition has been treated by the association
We will have coverage of that final on Saturday sport.
