Gavin O’Hagan gave Leitrim a five-point cushion on the hour mark before Diarmuid Carney restored parity one minute into injury time.

A Cavan winner would have taken them into the final, but it was the visitors who grabbed the last score to claim just their second win of the campaign.

The result sees Cavan finish in third place. Monaghan and Lancashire will contest the final after finishing first and second respectively.
