Cavan suffered a second straight defeat in the National Camogie League division 2A losing 3-20 to 1-2 at Kingspan Breffni.
Derry led 2-8 to 0-1 at half-time. Niamh Keenaghan with Cavan’s only score while Aine McGill and Aimee Lennon scored a goal each for Derry.
Derry registered their third goal on 36 minutes; Shanise Fitzsimons replied with one for Cavan 12 minutes later but the hosts still trailed by 20 points.

Keenaghan added a point seven minutes later before five unanswered points saw Derry seal a convincing victory.
