Margaret Farrelly has been appointed Referee to the Kiernan's Service Station Senior Championship Football Final Replay on Sunday next at 2:30pm in Kingspan Breffni.
It will see the Laragh United offical become the first female Referee to officiate a Senior Men's County Football Final in the Country.
Speaking to Shannonside/Northern Sound earlier today, Maggie remarked that she hope her appointment for the blue ribbon event in club football in Cavan would encourage others to pickup the whistle.
