Mayo await the winners

Cavan will meet Sligo in the Allianz league division 3A semi-final this weekend.

The breffni side advanced to the semi-final after their 2-13 to 13 point win over Monaghan last Saturday. At the same time Sligo lost out to Mayo 2-12 to 0-14.

The victory saw Mayo top division 3A and thus progress automatically to the final on March 30th or 31st. Mayo await the winner of Sligo and Cavan.

Sligo beat Cavan 4-19 to 3-18 in division 3A earlier this season. Ollie Bellew's side staged a huge second-half comeback.

Meanwhile, Monaghan will play the 2025 league season in the new division four. Monaghan finished last in division 3A. The farney and Louth have been relegated to the new division four for 2025.

They will be joined with all the teams who played in Division 3B this season. Fermanagh, Longford, Warwickshire, Leitirm and Lancashire.

Whereas, Cavan will play in the new division three. The top four teams in division 3A; Mayo, Sligo, Cavan and Armagh will form the new division three.

Joining them are the teams finishing fourth, fifth and sixth in division 2B. These are; London, Roscommon and Wicklow.
