Last years Intermediate double champions are unbeaten so far in the senior competition

The final round of games in the Monaghan senior football championship will throw in this weekend with one of the semi final spots already decided and the 2nd one up for decision. The meeting of Latton and Corduff will decide who gets the 2nd automatic last 4 spot with the loser joining Aughnamullen, Scotstown and Clontibret in the quarter finals. Corduff are last years intermediate league and championship winners and followed that up with a provincial final appearance and claiming the Ulster senior league title. Their senior championship has also seen them go unbeaten so far and manager Seamus Mc Enaney acknowledged in particular the strength and conditioning of the panel
