Cuchulains landed the Cavan intermediate football championship for 2025
Cuchulains scored a 24 points to 18 win over Butlersbridge in Kingspan Breffni.
The champions, led by three points at the break but it wasn't until the second-half when Niall Lynch's side took full control and recorded a six-point victory.
“Absolute joy” explained Lynch afterwards. “That was a hell of a game, that’s what the new rules are about. It was a fantastic opportunity to lead my club today”.
“I think we only had two or three wides. I think our efficiency was huge.”
Elsewhere, Munterconnaught claimed the junior title with an 11 points to 10 victory over Kill Shamrocks.
