The competition starts on June 18th.

The draw has been made for the first ever Avenir Sports Women's All-Island Cup at FAI headquarters.

Group A contains Athlone Town, Shelbourne, Galway United and Linfield. It features a rematch of last year’s FAI Women’s cup final where the Shelbourne defeated Athlone 2-0.

Elsewhere, Glentoran take on Peamount United, Shamrock Rovers and Wexford Youths in group B.

Group C will see Women's Premiership winners Cliftonville come up against Bohemians, Derry City and Sligo Rovers.

Group D is made up of Cork City, Crusaders, DLR Waves and Treaty United.

To aid the Republic of Ireland's preparations for the World Cup, a break has been planned during this season's Premier Division season.

A new all-island competition will be played during the break ensuring that women's domestic football continues in some capacity.

The group games will take place on 18 June, 25 June and 2 July. The top teams in each group will then progress to the semi-finals.

The last four ties will be held on 9th July, before the last two compete for the silverware in the final on 16 July.

Four days later, the Girls in Green kick off their World Cup against co-hosts Australia in Sydney.
