Drumlane land Cavan junior championship with stoppage time winner over Arva

Dumlane captured the Cavan junior championship after a one point victory over Arva.

It rained goals in the first-half as the sides were level at the break. Arva 2-4 Drumlane 1-7.

Tristan Noach landed Arva's first goal in the opening minute. Cormac Flynn's goal put Drumlane ahead for the first time on 18 minutes, 1-4 to 1-3.

Kevin Bouchier scored Arva's second goal six minutes before the break to make it 2-4 to 1-5. The sides were level 2-4 to 1-7 at half-time.

The sides exchanged scores throughout the second-half with the game tied 14 points a piece on 60 minutes. 2-8 to 1-11.

However up stepped Drumlane's Ryan Connolly to convert a free on 60+5 and win the Cavan junior championship 2-8 to 1-12.
