The Monaghan champions are the first team from the county to make the final

It is set to be an historic weekend for the Emmet Og Minors of Monaghan as they become the first club from the county to contest an Ulster minor final. The Aghabog/Eire Og representatives accounted for St Treas of Ballmacguigan (Derry) in the quarter final and Kinawley of Fermanagh in the semi final. That fixture been re-scheduled due to an injury been picked up by a Kinawley player in their first encounter. Carrickmore of Tyrone will provide the opposition in the decider with the Red Hand champions having beaten St Eunans of Letterkenny in the quarter final and St Ergnats of Moneyglass (Antrim) in the last 4. Throw in on Sunday is at 1pm in Trillick.
