Emyvale looking to claim a 3rd Ulster club title

The Monaghan champions won in 2009 and 2013

Emyvale will look to claim an Ulster Junior title for the 3rd time when they face Clogher of Tyrone this Saturday at 1pm in Roslea. The Monaghan champions won the title in 2009 and 2013 and will enter this weekends decider as slight favourites to lift the Paul Kerr cup. It is a quick turn around for both teams with Clogher requiring extra time to see of Donagh in their semi final while Emyvale were a little more comfortable in their victory over Munterconnaught but did pick up a number or injury concerns. Manager Owen Lennon acknowledged that their opposition would have 7 days to prepare compared to their 6

Tyrone and Monaghan clubs have had the biggest success in this competition with the Farney county seeing clubs win on 8 occasions and been runners up 7 times over the 24 years while a Red Hand club has won it 7 times and been runners up twice.
