Nudie Hughes played under Mc Cague in a very successful era for Monaghan GAA

Monaghan GAA has been saddened by the news that former manager and president of the association Sean MC Cague has passed away. The Scotstown clubman lead Monaghan to a first Ulster title in 41 years in 1979 and added further titles in 85 and 88 as well as a national league title in 1985. Nudie Hughes featured in those successes and he spoke to Sean Mc Caffrey of the legacy that is been left behind
