Whatever the result Cavan hurlers have already made history by running out at Croke Park

Cavan hurlers will make an historic visit to Croke Park on Saturday evening when they face Fermanagh in the Lory Meagher cup final at 6:30. Both sides met in the group stages of the competition with Cavan progressing to the semi final where they accounted for Louth. For the Ernesiders they re-grouped after that opening day loss to overcome 2 of the favourites for the title in Monaghan and Longford.
