The O'Byrne cup and Dr Mc Kenna cup finals will be decided this coming Saturday

Dublin will play Laois in Saturday's O'Byrne Cup final, following penalty drama at Netwatch Cullen Park last night. The O'Moore men beat Kildare 6-5 on penalties, after the sides finished level at normal time. Cormac Murphy struck the winning penalty for Laois who will look to lift the O'Byrne Cup for the first time since 2005. It is set to be a busy weekend of pre-season tournament finals with the Bank of Ireland Dr. Mc Kenna cup also throwing in on Saturday as Monaghan prepare to face Donegal in O Neill's sportswear Healy park in Omagh. The Farney side over came Armagh on penalties on Tuesday night in their semi final meeting and manager Seamus Mc Enaney noted his happiness at not only getting the result in the competition but more importantly another game

Monaghan get their Division one league campaign underway a week on Sunday when they will again be in Omagh to face the All Ireland champions Tyrone
