Gowna and Kingscourt opened the 2024 Cavan senior football championship with a 1-16 to 2-13 draw.
The defending champions led 1-8 to 1-6 at half-time. Cian Madden with Gowna's goal on 24 minutes with Caoimhan Magee grabbing Kingscourt's goal two minutes later.
Whereas, Aaron Shekleton bagged a Kingscourt goal two minutes into second-half injury to ensure a draw.
