Gowna fight back for last gasp Mullahoran draw

Late Gowna goal sets up grand stand finish

Gowna and Mullahoran played out a high scoring and dramatic draw game in Kingspan Breffni.

Tiernan Madden sent over a last gasp point as the sides played a 1-20 to 2-17 draw game as Gowna move to five points and Mullahoran to four in the Cavan SFC table.

Mullahoran had led 1-11 to three points at half-time. Cormac O’Reilly having landed Mullahoran’s goal. Indeed, Ultan O’Reilly grabbed Mullahoran’s second goal, Oisin Pierson scored the late Gowna goal.

Damien Donohoe was in Kingspan Breffni.

Elsewhere, Ballyhaise scored their second win of the Campaign with a 1-15 to 1-14 win over Arva.
