Ireland have been drawn in Pool B with Scotland and South Africa for the 2023 World cup along with another European qualifier and a team

Ireland have been drawn in Pool B with Scotland and South Africa for the 2023 World cup along with another European qualifier and a team from  Asia/Pacific.

Pool A see's France, Italy and New Zealand along with Africa 1 and America 1.

If Ireland progress from the pool stage they will face a team from Pool A, almost certainly either New Zealand or hosts France.

Wales, Australia, Fiji Europe 1 and a qualifier will make up pool C with Argentina, Japan, England Oceania and America 2 completing Pool D

The World cup will take place in France from September 8th to October 21st 2023
