The Sligo Stages rally is round five of the championship

The focus returns to the National rally championship this weekend with the Connacht Sligo stages rally on Sunday.

Defending championship leaders Josh Moffett and Keith Moriarty are the top seeds in the Hyundai I20 R5. Callum Devine and Noel O'Sullivan at number two in their Volkswagon Polo R5.

Meirion Evans and Jonathon Jackson complete the top three also in a Volkswagon.

Meanwhile, Kevin Gallagher tops the modified driver list at nine in the Darrian T90. Whereas the Monaghan pairing of Dessie Keenan and Jason Mc Kenna at number 11.

Jack McKenna will be looking to keep up his fine run of form as he is the top seed in the junior class in his Honda Civic.
