Kerry and Meath will contest the TG4 All-Ireland senior ladies football final after both sides were victorious in their respective semi-finals at Croke Park.

The Kingdom ended a ten-year wait for a final appearance following a 4-10 to 0-13 victory over Mayo in the curtain raiser.

Siofra O’Shea found the net on two occasions while Aishling O’Connell and Paris McCarthy were also among the goals for Kerry.

In the second game, Emma Duggan produced late heroics for the second weekend running as defending champions Meath recorded a 0-12 to 1-7 victory over Donegal.

Following her last-gasp point to earn the Royals victory at the expense of Galway last Saturday, she kicked three points inside the closing ten minutes to propel her side towards the decider on 31 July.
