Ramor United bowed out of the Ulster SFC at the quarter-final stages following  a 3-13 to 1-8  defeat to Kilcoo at Kingspan Breffni Park.

The county Down outfit led 1-6 to 1-2 at the half-time break before a dominant second-half display saw them finish with 11 points to spare.

Sean McEvoy’s goal on six minutes gave Ramor United a two-point lead but three minutes later Kilcoo led by the same margin when Jerome Johnston found the back of the net.

Kilcoo stretched their lead to five points at the first water break before Sean McEvoy replied with one for Ramor United leaving four points between them at half-time.

Ramor United showed plenty of urgency at the start of the second half and three points inside the first four minutes left the smallest of margins between them.

Kilcoo out-scored Ramor United 1-5 to no score during the remainder of the third quarter; Paul Devlin’s goal on 48 minutes giving them a nine point buffer at the second water break.

Jerome Johnston subsequently added his second goal with five minutes left as Kilcoo ran out convincing winners in the end.
