Knockbride Ladies will go in search of All Ireland Glory on Saturday when they face Caltra of Galway in the Intermediate club final in Croke Park. It is an historic day for not only the club but for the county as it will be a first final apperance for a club from the Breffni county at this grade.
Having claimed county honours, Knockbride then overcame Carryduff of Down, Fanad Gaels in Donegal and St Brigids in Monaghan to claim a first ever provincial title. In a low scoring All Ireland semi-final they accounted for the Munster champions Naomh Aban of Cork. Sarah Mc Cabe is captain of the Cavan representatives and she spoke to Oisin Langan
