Leanne Kiernan is Liverpool player of the year

Cavan's Leanne Kiernan has been announced as Liverpools player of the season. The Cavan native topped the poll for the women's prize ahead of Taylor Hinds and last seasons winner Missy Bo Kearns. Liverpool won promotion to the Women's Super league with Leanne contributing 13 goals. She is set to feature for Ireland against Georgia in the World cup qualifier later this month.
