Leona Maguire tees off at the Meijer LPGA classic this Thursday lunchthime. The Irish golfer is currently well inside the top 100 on the LPGA leader board as well as been in the top 20 for the Race to the CME Globe Season. With the Rolex Rookie of the year competition also carrying over to this year due to the Covid Pandemic, the Cavan native is 2nd on the table 1 point behind Patty Tavatanakit of Thailand. A 9th place finish at the Mediheal championship last weekend was a 3rd top ten finish for Leona on the tour this year so far, as she shown some excellent form on the greens as well as recovery from one or two poor rounds.
Speaking after that particular tournament, Leona noted how every round was adding to her experience
