Leona Maguire finishes inside top 30 at Chevron Classic

Leona Maguire took a very creditable 23rd overall in the Ladies first major of the year at the Chevron classic in Texas over the weekend. The Cavan golfer got off to a difficult start when an opening round of 76 seen her in danger of missing the cut before rounds of 69, 70 and 73 seen her move up the leader board. American Lilla Vu took the victory after a play off win over fellow American Angel Win, with both golfers finishing on 10 under.
