Leona Maguire set to be around for the weekend at the British Open

UPDATE :-Leona Maguire is two under at the Women's Open Championship after completing her second round. The Cavan native has posted a 2nd round of 69.

While a bogey on the fourth saw Maguire go to one over it was followed by an eagle on the par 5 fifth which moved her to one under. Another bogey on the 11th brought her back to level par. Three birdies and a bogey on the final 5 holes has seen her up the leader board.

Japan's Hinako Shibuno and American Jessica Korda top the leader board on 5 under as they are in the early stages of their second round
