Leona Maguire finished up joint 9th in the LPGA Mediheal championship in California last night (Sunday). Having taking the lead in the opening round with a record equaling 7 under par, the Cavan golfer did experience some difficulty in rounds 2 and 3 dropping down to 11th overall as she carded a 73 and 74, before posting a final round of 2 under par 70 to finish on 6 under, 8 of the winner Matilda Castren. It's her 3rd top 10 finish this season so far, after been runner up at the Lotte championship and a 6th place finish at the Drive on championship. Next up for the Cavan Golfer is the Meijer Classic which tees off on Thursday the 17th.
