Longford Town have been promoted to the S-S-E Airticity League Premier Division following a one-nil win over Shelbourne in the promotion play-off final in Inchicore on Sunday.
Rob Manley atoned for an earlier missed penalty when he scored the decisive goal in the 54th minute.

Shelbourne also finished the game with 10 men after Luke Byrne was sent off in the first-half.
Town are now back in the first division for the first time in four-years and manager Daire Doyle was delighted with his side's achievement.
