Lurgan claim Cavan LGFA senior title

Edith Lynch’s seventh minute goal helped Lurgan to the Cavan LGFA senior football title.

The Lurgan ladies scored a 1-13 to nine point win over Crosserlough to claim the title in Kingspan Breffni.

Lynch’s goal and two Aoife Brady points helped Lurgan to a 1-7 to seven point half-time lead. Lurgan limited Crosserlough to two second-half points.

Whereas, three points from Ciara Lynch (all frees), Aoife Brady (f) and Niamh Tolan helped Lurgan to a seven point win.
