Maguire leads on day one of Meijir

Leona Maguire is the joint clubhouse leader at the LPGA in Meijir, Michigan after a seven under par opening round.

Maguire opened with birdies on one, four, seven and eight to go out in 32. Birdies on 10, 14 and 18 saw Maguire finish with a seven under par 65 for a share of the clubhouse lead.

England’s Charley Hull and American Lauren Stephenson both shot seven under par 65’s, the trio have a one shot lead on Nasa Hataoka and Min Lee.
