Leona Maguire opened her Hugel-Air Premia LA Open with a two under par 69, finding herself four shots off the lead.
Maguire opened with a birdie on three but shot a double bogey five at the par fourth, before recovering with a second birdie at five.
A bogey at ninth saw Maguire open with a one over par 36. The back nine began with a bogey at 12, but birdies at 13, 14, 16 and 17 saw Maguire a round of 69 for two under par.

Moriya Jutanugarn is the current leader on six under par, one clear of Austin Ernst and Kelly Korda. Sei Young Kim, Jin Young Ko and Ally Ewing all carded four under par rounds of 67.
Maguire is one of 15 players to shoot two under par and sits tied 21st.
