The Mc Kenna Brothers Aaron and Stephen will both fight on the same bill for the first time as professionals later tonight (Friday 11th) as they are part of the undercard to the meeting of Ashley Theophane and Sam Eggington in a super welterweight encounter.

While they would have shared the ring in their amateur days in tournaments and indeed have sparred against each other, this is the first time that they have followed each other into the ring as pro's.

Stephen who signed a new promotion deal with Mick Hennessy yesterday is expected to be the first into the ring when he faces Des Newton.

The "Hitman" is unbeaten in 5 professional rounds and is expected to extend that run when he faces Newton who has 8 wins from 25 outings.

All 5 of those victories have been by knock out, but Stephen remarked he is prepared to go all 6 rounds if his opponent is fit for it

Aaron meanwhile is stepping into the ring for the first time this year and will be looking to add to his unblemished record of 10 professional fights without a loss.

The "Silencer" faces, Jordan Grannum who has 5 wins and 2 draws from his 79 outings.

Both fights are scheduled to feature on Channel 5 later tonight.
