Louth will compete in Division 4 of the Allianz League in 2021 having been relegated this year, while their last Leinster championship final appearance was back in 2010, when Joe Sheridan infamous goal which was allowed stand by referee Martin Sludden (Tyrone) denied the Wee County an historic provincial win.

Tyrone's championship ended this year at the quarter final stage with a loss to Donegal, with Harte initially requesting a further year in the management role, but this was denied due to a County executive rule whereby, the position would be for 3 years with it open to other candidates.

Gavin Devlin will form part of the management team along with Mickey Harte, and together they'll also be in charge of Louth's under-20's.
