This Sunday (9th Feb) will see the Midland motor club launch their Jeremy O’Connor Longford Arms hotel stages rally at 3pm. The return of the event this year sees it been the opening round of a number of championships, including the Triton Showers national championship, Sligo Pallets Border championship and the Dacia Sandero challenge cup. Storm Eowyn has seen a number of clubs having to postpone their events in light of damage been done to their propose routes, and speaking to our reporter Sean Mc Caffrey, press officer for the rally Barry Molloy remarked that they were concerned initially for their own event, but it is now all systems go
